The ships are cruising the Caribbean and Alaska! Let's post some Caribbean views to remind everyone how the steel drums, tiki bars (not tacky bars, although they can be), and overcrowded beaches looked when wearing a mask referred to snorkeling or diving.

ALASKA
Cruises return to the land of glaciers, sled dogs, wickedly wild weather (blizzards in May). Here are a few pics of my trip there to celebrate my retirement. See the Last Frontier before it melts.
The majesty of Denali (Mt. Mckinley).
Sled dogs ready for a summer run.

Beautiful Skagway.
The Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau.
Ketchikan: stairs, boardwalks, and rain.
BAHAMAS AND PRIVATE ISLANDS
Cruises are hitting these hot spots because they are close to the home ports and make for short trips. Plus, the cruise lines can control the environments on their private islands, an advantage during the COVID era. Some pics from my previous visits:
Nassau government buildings with bunting for Independence Day.
View of Naussau's main street.
Color along Nassau's main street.
The Atlantis Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas' premier vacation spot.
Historic chapel in Half Moon Cay, Holland America's private island.
Buildings in Labadee, Haiti, Royal Caribbean's private island.
